In utility and rooftop applications, solar mounting structures
are essential parts that guarantee the effectiveness of a
solar power system. These structures make it possible for
panels to lay comfortably at the ideal angle, optimising
energy production.
A number of silicon crystalline cells are still used to make most
solar panels. These cells are sandwiched between a front glass
plate and a back polymer plastic sheet, which are both supported
by an aluminium frame. Over the course of its 25+ year lifespan,
solar panels are subjected to harsh environments once they are
deployed.
